we are driven by attempts to find the sometimes-precarious tethers and scaffolding that keep us connected to some kind of anchor so that we aren’t floundering and floating alone in the abyss. during this time of widespread isolation, we seek the tethers in a much more urgent way; we rely on technology, brief interactions from a distance, any interaction at all, to keep us from disappearing into the ether. there have only been very slight shifts that occur in our lives that make the delineation between months decipherable during a year of sameness. these little worlds are an attempt to travel into an unrelated variation on shape and color, to escape from internal and external sameness and isolation, if only for a little while.

these works are on 9” x 12” archival watercolor paper; they are also for sale unless noted. please reach out for pricing and shipping info.
